“Aly de Groot is very generous with sharing of her knowledge and skills and has worked with AENT (Art Educators of the NT) members in a number of capacities. She has presented at conference events, hosted numerous hands on workshops using different dying and weaving techniques, worked in schools as an Artist in Schools, and engaged teachers and schools in community events. We are fortunate to have Aly as a locally based artist and appreciate how she includes the local art community in her inspiring creative journey that responds to issues pertinent to our environment.”
